The Mayflower Waterworks Department is accepting applications for the position of utility worker/crew member.  This position performs general maintenance of the water distribution system, operation of hand tools/gas powered equipment, installation of water pipe, meters, meter sets, valves, fire hydrants, etc., and various other duties as necessary.

Position requires applicant to perform duties in various weather conditions.  Position also requires on-call status and will require working nights/weekends.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid Arkansas driver’s license.  Wage is based on qualifications and experience.  Must pass background check...
